Facebook is hurting the grades of the students because students spend way too much on the computer and they do not give their studies the priority.
Claim - Facebook is hurting the grades of the students
Reason - Because students spend way too much on the computer and they do no give their studies the priority.
Assumption - Students want good grades.

  1. What sort of solutions do you have for this issue? Banning Facebook when using the BYU wireless internet? Going on Facebook is a choice of students, and I'm not sure how you would "fix" this, unless your goal is simply to persuade the audience to use it less. That could work!

  2. Hey Adam, I really like your facebook idea, and Candace as for your comment about how BYU could ban facebook, that is a great idea.
    I am all for a campus wide facebook ban for the wireless network and on campus computers. I hate being in class and having the person right next to me browsing their facebook. It is distracting. I also get annoyed waiting in line to use a campus computer while the people using the computers aren't doing school work, they instead are on facebook.

    BYU-Idaho used to block facebook on campus until after 5pm, I don't know if they still do. This could be an interesting solution to the argument.
